Vratka

Terms of use

Plain terms for a simple service. If anything here conflicts with consumer law where you live, the law wins.

1. The service

Vratka (“the app”) is operated by Jan Horák, Prague, Czech Republic (“we”). It helps you keep track of online and in-store purchases: it reads order details from documents you add, computes return, refund, claim and warranty deadlines, reminds you before they pass, and helps you check that refunds arrive and prepare letters to shops.

2. Deadlines are estimates, not legal advice

Deadlines are computed from the consumer law of the country you select, the shop's published rules as we last verified them, and the dates you and your documents provide. Laws, shop rules and the facts of your purchase can differ from what the app knows. Each deadline shows its basis and assumptions. Vratka is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Where something matters, check the shop's terms and act before the earliest date shown. Shops' own rules can change without notice.

3. Your account and your content

4. Free and Pro

Vratka is free to use with up to 3 active orders tracked at a time. Vratka Pro removes the limit and adds a calendar feed and warranty reminders. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly), sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play).

For purchases through the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

5. Fair use

Don't use Vratka to send spam to forwarding addresses, to upload content you have no right to, to probe or overload the service, or to resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Vratka available and accurate, but it is provided as is, and features may change. We will tell you in the app about material changes to these terms before they apply to you.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for a deadline missed because of incorrect or incomplete information (from you, a document, a shop or the law changing). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Law and disputes

Czech law applies, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. Consumers in the EU may also use the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
